Times New Roman

Under the leadership of Stanley Morison, Times New Roman was developed in the early 1930s and presented by the New York Times. Artistic designer Vincent Lardent developed the first version of the font and the first publication of the New York Times to use Times New Roman appeared on 3 October 1932. The development, drawing and completion of the lead letters took only 16 months, an incredible accomplishment for that time. This font became the most common worldwide and is a standard feature on every PC and Mac.
