Gayaneh Bagdasaryan was graduated from Ryazan Art School. Gayaneh Bagdasaryan worked as a painting instructor. Then she worked as a staff designer for the advertising and publishing company Mart in Ryazan; she specializes in logotype design, corporate identity, promotional literature, etc. Later Gayaneh Bagdasaryan entered the Print Design Department of the Moscow State University of Printing (former Moscow Printing Institute). Type designer of ParaType, executive secretary of design studio ParaType. Participant of type and typography contests and exhibitions. Awarded by Diplomae at international type contests «Kirillitsa'99» (type New Letter Gothic) and «TDC2 2000» (type Klin). She also developed the following types: Pragmatica Armenian, Newton Armenian and Cyrillic versions of Latin types: ITC Eras, Bitstream Letter Gothic, Bitstream Original Garamond, Emigre Base 9.
