The objective was mainly to obtain a horizontal emphasis. The asymmetry of serifs reinforce the writing rhythm. The original drawings are very small. They began on tracing paper & were then digitized at larger sizes. ’Roughness’ makes the face more lively. Small caps, old style figures, lining figures, many ligatures & ornaments were included then.

This version 2.0 include few new alternates, improved kerning, hinting and Euros in all the weights.
