Special Offers
The typeface was designed for the International Typeface Corporation in 1975 by Edward Benguiat. Based on Bookman typeface of American Type Founders (end of the 19th century). ITC Bookman has an increased x-height, tight spacing and regularized character shapes. It works well in a text, maintaining its legibility at small sizes, and can be used successfully for headlines and in advertising. Cyrillic version was developed at ParaType (ParaGraph) in 1993 by Lyubov Kuznetsova with participation of Tagir Safayev.
