| An Arabic typeface developed at ParaType (ParaGraph) in 1994 by Lyubov Kuznetsova. Based on Naskhi Aswani, 1960, of Polygraphmash, also by Lyubov Kuznetsova, which was designed after a thorough study of classical Egyptian calligraphy and modern Arabic typefaces in the Naskh style. Initially the face was developed for Al Ahram newspaper (Cairo). For use in newspapers, magazines and books (for text and display). |
