ParaWin XP (for XP/2000/NT)

ParaWin XP is the software that enhances the multilingual capabilities of Windows NT/2000/XP Operating System. This software also expands Windows font collection by adding a set of True Type fonts supporting six different code pages (scripts).

ParaWin XP extends Microsoft® National Language Support in the following ways:

  • It installs a Keyboard Layout Editor enabling users to customize the existing keyboard layouts as well as to create the new ones.
  • It installs the Keyboard Viewer to display the keyboard layouts on your screen.
  • It includes additional keyboard layouts for different languages.
  • It provides an additional set of Multilingual True Type fonts from ParaType collection: Newton, Pragmatica, Courier.

Basic version of ParaWin XP supports following languages:

WESTERN: Breton, Catalan, Danish, Dutch, English, Finnish, French, German, Icelandic, Irish, Italian, Norwegian, Portuguese, Rhaeto-Romanic, Spanish, Swedish, Turkish.

CENTRAL EUROPEAN: Albanian, Croatian, Czech, Hungarian, Moldavian, Polish, Romanian, Slovak, Slovenian, Lower Sorbian, Upper Sorbian.

BALTIC: Estonian, Latvian, Lithuanian

CYRILLIC script: Abazin, Adyghe, Awar, Balkar, Belorussian, Bulgarian, Chechen, Dargin, Ingushian, Kabardino-Cherkesian, Lakish, Lezgi, Macedonian, Moldavian, Mordovin-Erzya, Mordovin-Moksha, Nenets, Nogai, Russian, Serbian, Tabassaran, Ukranian.

REGISTERING ParaWin XP TRIAL VERSION

If you are using a 30-day ParaWin XP trial version, and you like it, you may obtain an access code, which will turn your ParaWin XP version fully functional.

To do this you just contact fonts@paratype.com for paying the license fee and reporting your ParaWin Product ID (you can see it in the "Register..." dialog). Upon Confirmation of your payment you will receive an access code. Enter these number in the "Register..." dialog and - voila, you have the complete ParaWin XP with full set of fonts and features.


REGISTERING ParaWin XP

Even if you have purchased ParaWin XP and paid the licensing fee, you still have to register your version of ParaWin. Then you will get an access code for the instance of ParaWin XP installed on your computer. This access code prevents other people from stealing your copy of ParaWin XP.

To get the access code call your local dealer, and tell him the ParaWin Product ID, which can be found in the "Register..." dialog. Enter the received access code into the "Access code" field in "Register..." dialog and the procedure is complete.
